Parramatta Mission says thank you |

|
|
Parramatta Mission has been actively transforming the lives of those in need who are living in the Western suburbs for nearly forty years.
Each day we have many single women and children, youth, single men, single women, homeless people and people living with a mental reach out to the Mission for help.
Our vision is to create “a community where all are included, valued and enabled.” We have over thirty services within the Mission where we assist those seeking our support.
The Mission is assisted by many volunteers, some who have been volunteering for over twenty years. Along with our volunteers we also have numerous people and organisations within the community who; give up their time at our Meals Plus or Lifeline services, donate food items or gifts especially during the festive season or by contributing financially.
We would like to say a big thank to everybody who has helped the Mission this year, without their dedication and generosity we would not be able to provide to those less fortunate.
If you would like more information or if you would like to help in anyway please contact Parramatta Mission on 9891 2277. |

Have you covered your most valuable assets? |

Bupa Australia is pleased to introduce a new range of quality overseas visitors covers – including options specifically designed to help meet employer visa sponsorship obligations.
As a sponsor of an overseas employee, your obligations include providing basic cover for their hospital and medical expenses; as they have little or no access to Medicare. So it makes sense to cover them through a Bupa Australia Health Plan, which can reduce any unnecessary sponsorship risks or costs to your business. Read more here

Crowne Plaza Parramatta supports Blood Donation |
.jpg)
|
|
Staff at Crowne Plaza Parramatta supported the local community recently with a visit to the Red Cross Blood Donation Centre at Parramatta on Wednesday 5th November. With the low supply and shortages of blood available throughout Australia, this was a great time for the donation to take place, and each donation potentially saved 3 lives. The employees were supported by Sam Davies, the General Manager, who encouraged staff to spare an hour of their work day to donate blood, which he also joined the group for. This will become a regular activity for the hotel staff, and it is hoped the group will continue to grow into the future with hotel support. |

CAN YOU AFFORD TO BE UNDERINSURED? |
.gif) |
Small business owners invest their lives into building their business, yet many very astute and successful owners fail to protect this asset.
No one likes to think about things going wrong, but an important part of your growth strategy must be about contingency. Imagine if your office burnt down, was flooded, or key equipment was damaged in an electrical storm? Would your current insurance cover the cost of rebuilding your business?
If you fail to invest time, money, effort and seek the right guidance, then you may find yourself underinsured. Suddenly, you hit some unexpected bumps in the road and you discover just how easily your business can unravel without the right protection and advice. Do you know today’s replacement costs for your business would be? Have you factored in the ‘hidden’ costs such as downtime and building approval costs? Realistically, would your business survive?
