Dining options enhance event experience
February footy presents the perfect opportunity for fans to experience Sydney Olympic Park’s fast-growing alfresco scene.
ANZ Stadium is surrounded by fantastic bars, cafes and restaurants, giving fans plenty of choice when it comes to pre and post event entertainment.
Thousands of footy fans will flock to ANZ Stadium this month with the annual Charity Shield between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons (Saturday 18 February) and the Super Rugby opener between the HSBC Waratahs and Queensland Reds (Saturday 25 February) both on the calendar.
Arrive early and not only will you beat the rush, but you’ll find yourself only a short stroll from the bustling hub of Sydney Olympic Park’s eat street, Dawn Fraser Avenue, and surrounds.
There is a spot suit all tastes, moods and budgets with Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian and modern Australian among the tasty cuisines available.
Olympic Park Station is adjacent to Dawn Fraser Avenue. Sydney Buses servicing ANZ Stadium drop off on Dawn Fraser Avenue.
A regular Sydney Ferries service operates between Circular Quay and Sydney Olympic Park, with connecting buses bringing visitors up the hill from Parramatta River to the Stadium and café/bar precinct.
