- Australia in the Asian Century On Wednesday 28 September the Australian Government commissioned a White Paper on Australia in the Asian Century. The White Paper will consider:
- The White Paper will be considered by the full Cabinet in the first half of 2012 and will be released during the middle of the year
- Australian financial services publications: 2011 Benchmark Report and regulatory guides for funds management in Indonesia and Vietnam. On Wednesday 5 October Austrade launched the Financial Services Benchmark Report 2011
- The current and likely future course of economic, political and strategic change in Asia, encompassing China, India, the key ASEAN countries as well as Japan and the Republic of Korea;
- 49th Australian Export Awards National Ceremony, Brisbane, 08 December
